White-labeling Plesk allows you to replace Plesk’s branding with your own, giving the control panel a professional, customized look that matches your company's identity. This is especially useful for hosting providers, resellers, agencies, and businesses that want their customers to interact with a branded interface rather than the default Plesk layout.
By white-labeling Plesk, you can modify:
In this tutorial, we will guide you through customizing your Plesk installation to reflect your brand.
Before you begin managing backups, please log in to your Plesk control panel. To perform that, please enter your IP address, hostname, or domain name inside your web browser’s search bar and add “:8443” at the end. It should look something like: “https://yourdomain.com:8443”. By doing so, you will be prompted by a login form that requests your username and password.
After logging in with your username and password, Plesk will automatically display the “Websites & Domains” page, which will serve as the index page from where you can manage everything related to your websites and domains on Plesk.
To begin customizing Plesk’s branding, please navigate to the “Tools & Settings” page by clicking on the option located on the left side of your screen.
Performing the action above will redirect you to the “Tools & Settings” page, which offers a wide range of tools to manage and control every aspect of your Plesk server.
To manage your branding, please click on the “Branding” functionality, located under the “Plesk Appearance” section.
This page contains all the controls needed to personalize the Plesk interface.
On the Plesk “Branding” page, you will find options to replace graphical elements that will make your Plesk interface a lot more recognizable and more outstanding. Let’s go through all of these options below.
Under this section, you will be able to add a custom title to your Plesk pages.
Under this section, you will be able to customize your Plesk logo.
Under this section, you will be able to add a custom favicon for your Plesk.
Under this section, you will be able to customize your Plesk login screen’s background.
Once you have added all the changes to your branding, please click on the “Apply” button to save them and remain on the same page, or please click on the “OK” button to get redirected back to the “Tools & Settings” page.
To direct customers to your support channels, you would need to create custom links that lead to them. In order to achieve this goal, from the “Tools & Settings” page, please select the “Custom Buttons” functionality, which is located under the “Plesk Appearance” section.
Performing the action above will redirect you to the custom buttons interface, where you will initially see a completely blank page with the option to add a new button at the top left side of the screen. Please click on the “Add Link to Service” button.
Performing this action will redirect you to a page with a form that requires you to enter all fields to generate the desired button. Let’s go over all the available options there.
Once you have entered all details for the new custom button, please click on the “OK” button located at the bottom of the screen.
Performing the above action will redirect you back to the “Custom Buttons” page, where you will see your button listed.
In our case, we have added a button that will lead to our HostArmada tutorial section. To check whether the new button is active, please go to the Plesk index page we mentioned at the very beginning of this tutorial, then expand your website’s tools.
During the bottom configuration process, we chose the location to be in the “Website Tools” area, which is why we are going to test it here.
As you can see, the custom button is already available in our website tools, and all customers can access it.
As you can see, Plesk provides an easy, flexible way to white-label your control panel, enabling you to deliver a fully branded experience for your users and customers. By updating your logos, titles, support links, and interface elements, you can create a professional, unified look across the entire platform. In addition, you can add custom icons and links to your dashboard to redirect customers to your desired tutorial sections or helpful articles!
We hope this tutorial was helpful, and we encourage you to revisit your branding settings whenever you update your company identity or service offerings.
