Ghost is a new open-source app that ranks amongst the best options for creating a professional and beautiful blog. The ease of access, fluidity, and intuitive dashboard are excellent instruments for newcomers who want to start blogging. Ghost is also perfect for seasoned bloggers that want to take on a new, refreshing challenge and take their blog development skills to the next level.
To ensure a smooth user experience, we needed to provide an easy way of getting started with Ghost as soon as possible. In this tutorial, we will explore HostArmada's very own, in-house built One-Click installer tool for the application - the Ghost Commander!
To access the Ghost Commander, you must first log inside your cPanel account with HostArmada. If you need help with how to do that, please check out our How to access the cPanel service tutorial.
As soon as you log in, you will notice the Ghost Commander icon right underneath the "HostArmada Features" widget. Please click on it.
Upon clicking on it, you will be redirected to the actual tool, allowing you to start deploying new Ghost instances or managing existing ones.
At the top, you will see a brief explanation of what the Ghost application is, followed by useful links to our Ghost Tutorials and a small run-through of our Ghost Commander.
Finally, you will reach the "+ Create New" blue button. To proceed with a Ghost instance deployment, please click on the "+ Create New" blue button.
When you click on the "+ Create New" blue button, you will see a popup screen with a drop-down menu in the middle. Please use this drop-down menu to locate your domain and select it. This domain will be where the Ghost Commander will deploy the brand-new Ghost Blog instance.
After choosing the domain where you wish to install Ghost, please click on the blue "Continue" button on the bottom right corner of the popup screen.
After clicking "Continue", the Ghost Commander will begin the installation process. You may need to wait for a few minutes for it to finish.
Once the installation is finished, you will see the Ghost application available under the "Ghost Instances" table section and any other Ghost applications you have deployed with the Ghost Commander plugin.
Now that you have installed Ghost, you can start using it immediately by opening your browser and typing in domain/sub-domain.
Let's go over the "Ghost Instances" table section and get a better idea of what it includes and all the managing options it provides for your Glost blog.
Of course, if you are facing an issue with the Ghost Commandер, you can always contact our technical support team by clicking on the "Contact Technical Support!" link at the bottom of the page.
This wraps up our overview of the Ghost Commander plugin in cPanel! We hope our explanations helped you set up your Ghost blog and enabled you to manage it afterward easily! If you face any issues with the tool, don't hesitate to contact our support team via chat or ticket and ask them for assistance.
